Do you have a regular workout routine? What's your favorite form of exercise?
ha. i hate exercise. but i need to do it. i stand and walk around a lot?
i worked EMH (extra magic hours) at Mermaid/Playhouse tonight. so that's exercise....i danced around for a total of 2 hours probably. but i did also get my first taste of emh at little mermaid, which is the MOST boring.
drama, as always, ensued at the happiest place on earth today. working here is kind of like being in middle school again, at times. sometimes, i expect there to be a full on rumble between the old people and the young people, with the queue chains and shit! man, i wish i could whip up a quick little picture in illustrator or something, i would represent that hilarious thought in computerized beauty. but alas, i can't.
i hope i don't get mono. but this is the second time i've lived in a house with someone with mono, so it's all good.
i'm going to Washington, D.C. this weekend for a film festival in which my doc is appearing fo' sho'. so that's pretty awesome. and since i got my day 3 of coaster training changed, i can stay for the reception after the screening and network...baow.
oh, can i just say G.L.A.M.O.R.O.U.S.
i'm working from 10-5:30 tomorrow, and in between 2:30 and 3:30, i'm shooting Studio News (it's anchorMAN, not anchorLADY, and that is a scientific fact!). starting at 7:30, i "perform" in Goofy's Mystery Tour...as a wedding planner...and that's all i know...so far. i should probably go to bed soon, what with all of my activities on the morrow.
so i've been alternately blogging and facebooking for the past hour or so. lame. ass. i need to stop at least one of these activities---
So, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is fackin' sweet, and that's all I'm going to say about that.
The other HP, referring to Health Points (dork), is to introduce a rant about my health and a personal reminder to myself, and plea to get on the health ball. I saw the doctor on monday, and I was back until 170lbs, which is great and fine, and it's wonderful that I can maintain, but I still have at least 20 lbs to lose before I'm at a healthy weight. That's not to mention the eat habits that i MUST MUST change! I haven't gotten my lipid or blood sugar results back yet, but i'm sure the cholesterol won't be fabulous. it's a good thing i'm eating relatively vegetarian now! cheese is still my downfall, however.
my doctor told me that half of what i eat everyday should be fruits and vegetables, meaning a piece of fruit with every meal, and half of lunch and dinner should be veggies. which is very hard for me. because i don't like vegetables. but last night, i had pad thai with fake meats with soy proteins, so that's kind of a veggie. and there was a banana on the nutella ciabatta that i had for breaky this morning...so...
eating in normal situations isn't really the problem for me...as always, the problem is the munchies, especially late at night...for the past several nights, i've just been coming home and pigging out...i had two bowls of cereal last night, and some chips and hummus...at midnight! inappropriate! i wasn't hungry! i hate it, i have no self-control...i was even telling myself on the way home that i wasn't hungry and that i didn't need to eat anything and that i wouldn't eat anything, but then i did...why oh why does this happen? it's a very strange affliction. and so, i have to watch that...either that, or exercise more.
fackin' exercise. i hate it. there was a time when i loved it, and i have to find that place again. i love yoga. it's so beautiful, but it's really hard to balance it with wanting to just hang out all the time. but i brought my mat with me, and i'm going to weight watchers this afternoon which is around the corner from yogaworks. and so i will go. and it will be vinyasa and good. eli also said i could join him at his gym, which kills two birds (even 3!?) with one stone: hanging out + working out(smoking out?) = excellent use of time and energy and i loves it.
but yeah, so i'm supposed to be getting 3 hours of aerobic exercise per week. half of my diet per day should be fruits and veggies. and i need to eat a lot less simple sugar and cholesterol. the end.
increasing HP is hard :(
