So, I'm getting really antsy about moving. I just want to go live in Florida again. Oy. I said I wouldn't get hooked. Little did I know, right ;)

Goodness.

I miss Dylan so much. I miss Disney World so much! I was driving up to Katonah tonight and thinking about how great it would be if I was riding Pirates of the Caribbean right now.

AND today I got (drumroll please).....

A MACPRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoo! well, I ordered it. It should arrive at my parents' house early next week! OOOOOOOH I'm so excited!!! It's going to be so, so pretty.

I need to order a monitor, still, and more RAM, but all in good time, mes amis, all in good time. Like tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I have to drive up to VassAttack EARLY (so I can get there before 9:30) and I have to pick up blank DVDs on the way. I'm throwing together my reel(s). I need to check on the criteria. Shit, I left my grad school binder at home. Argh, I gotta search all around the internets now. Blast!

Look at these great hair ties I bought today!!!!

I was alone in the office almost all day with the kitties! Ok, not all day, but for a few hours with pepper and miso, the kittens. i should get pictures of them!

Facebook kid bailing out on me vis a vis subletting

Celia (the pregnant realtor) not writing me back with answers to all my questions on the townhouse next to Dylan even though she told me on the phone that she was writing it up then.

Also: who am I going to live with down there?

Having to change the Lavs resort reservations for higher value Family Holiday Discount packages including the meal plan, during which, my phone dies. 

What the hell was I going to do about the GREs?!?!?!?!?!* 

Knowing that I'm not going to get USC's application in on time, and withdrawing, as well as notifying my recommenders that they don't have to write shit by November 1st. oy.

So i need to organize some stuff, and chill out, and slow things down a bit. I'll go to Disney, see if I get these jobs, and THEN i will worry about subletting my room, and renting down there.

i'm also applying for teaching jobs at Full Sail University? yeah, the don't even require a Bachelor's! just three years of profesh experience...ok ok, so i haven't had 3 FULL years, but for the last 3 years, i'd say i've had a fair amount professional experience for someone my age!



*i'm taking them, kind of as a practice, but shit, will I probably not do good...i'm going to schedule another one in November, but first, i have to find out where the fuck i'm going to be living) (hell no, I wouldn't forget indigo)

Yeah, so that pretty much sums it up. I mean, I'm not the only one writing it, obviously, or the only one shooting it. But yes basically, this is a sweet deal!


still no word from Tom Stamper vis a vis video tech posish in Disney World

BUT i did get word from the DVC* people, saying that I'm still in consideration for the openings that we have so that's good stuff

*The Disney Vacation Club is Disney's "best-kept secret," of course! It is a fabulously expensive vacation time share experience that is obviously the balls because sales are rising exponentially. Everyone wants this shit. They're building tons of new condos and rooms for it. Anyways. The position is working in a call center, making reservations at these bombastic rooms and restaurants, etc. Yeah, it's lame, I know, but it starts at $9 an hour, I get to go to disneyworld all the time for free, I get health benefits (which i need when my COBRA kai dies, until grad schoolings), and most importantly, i get to be with DYLAN ALL THE TIME! ooh! sorry, got a little excited
